engaged concerned or interested in any other business or occu-

pation of any kind, but will devote himself exclusively to the

duties required of him under this Agreement.

7th. The Engineer shall not correspond either verbally

or otherwise directly or indirectly on matters connected with

his duties with any person or persons excepting as may be

directed by the Consulting Engineers nor in any other way

either directly or indirectly publish divulge or disclose any

information plan paper document book or matter of any kind

whatsoever relating to or affecting the same excepting to

such persons as he may from time to time be duly authorised

or instructed by the Consulting Engineers to make known the

same..

8th. If at any time the Engineer shall be called upon or

required to take upon himself the responsible charge of any

money surveying or drawing instruments stores or other pro-

perty of the Government of Hong Kong or of the Consulting

Engineers or if any such money instruments stores or other

property shall at any time be entrusted to him or come to his

hands or be under his charge he shall take proper care of the

same and shall truly and faithfully account for and pay over

or deliver the same to such person or persons as the Consult-

ing Engineers may require.

9th. If the Engineer shall at any time neglect or refuse

or from any cause (other than ill health not caused by his

own misconduct for a period not exceeding four consecutive

weeks) become or be unable to perform or comply with all or

any of the Articles of this Agreement or any of the duties

required of him or all or any of the orders of the Consulting

Engineers or shall be guilty of any misconduct or negligence

or of any breach or non-performance of the provisions of

these presents it shall be competent to the Consulting Engi-

neers either by letter or telegram to declare the employment
